PARENT-to-STAFF SHOUT:
"I'd like to shout out two of my favorite staff members at Whitmer High School -Ms. Jessica Stripling and Mrs.Stefanie DellaFlora! The dynamic duo! Both of these ladies go above and beyond for the good of all of the students at Whitmer. They have a common goal and purpose that guides their joint efforts. They work well together and make a great team. They are always willing to jump in to help and support students and staff. Their fun-loving sense of humor is contagious. They have such an amazing and positive impact on students. We need more people like Jessica and Stefanie to help our students feel confident, comfortable and loved."

STUDENT SHOUT:
"Mr. Stephen Wexler (Silver Creek) is an amazing teacher. He always wants you to do your best and have an amazing future. I had Mr Wexler for 6th grade and he was the best teacher I have ever had. He goes to my events. He will always be my favorite teacher. I tell him about my tests and he always says he knew I could do it. Mr Wexler is the best."
"He knew I could do it." = Because of your belief, they can AND will, Mr. Wexler!

"Moving to a new school in the 4th grade is super hard, especially for a kiddo who is more reserved. Mrs. Kerr was an absolute God-send for my son at Greenwood. She helped break him out of his shell and helped him make some pretty great friends by facilitating a classroom culture of family that was unmatched. Even though he’s moved on to the next grade, she has made such a significant impact on our family and his perspective of a new school. When they were asked to draw their Heart Maps (people and things that they hold dear), Mrs. Kerr was included on his map, which was so well-deserved. She has an amazing gift, and we are so lucky to have her in this district!"
Adults who make children feel safe in new environments are so precious to parents!

"I want to shout out Mr Matt Lapoint at Whitmer for being the best teacher I've ever had. He came to my art show, when my family or friends couldn’t attend that day and showed me so much support. I was so grateful. I genuinely don’t think I'd be here today, a Senior ready to graduate, without the help of Mr. Lapoint all 4 years. He truly does so much for me and fellow students, and that should be recognized."
We could not agree more.

A big shout-out to Mrs.Sara Michaelis at Silver Creek for the incredible love and support she shows both inside and outside of work. Not only does she go above and beyond during the week, but she also takes time out of her weekends to show up at sporting events when she doesn’t have to. That kind of dedication speaks volumes about her heart and commitment.
On top of that, she creates such a safe, welcoming space for my child. She is always encouraging him to freely express his likes and be exactly who he is. That kind of encouragement is priceless, and it truly makes a lasting impact.
Thank you for being such a positive influence and role model. You are deeply appreciated!
🙌❤️"
They see it.
We see it too.

HAPPY NATIONAL COACHES' DAY!

Don Dottei and Art Winzenried are retired Washington Local bus drivers that chose to come back and sub for us. Although they are both happy in their retirement, and would rather not drive as much as we ask them to, they continue week in and week out to save us.
Each week we have more field trips than we can fill, and because of Don and Art's dedication, it's possible for students to have an experience outside the classroom.
They are definitely our Transportation heroes!!
