The way she loves up kids and makes them feel special is amazing. Courtney works hard at helping students who struggle communicating find their voice. Dance Party Fridays have become one of the Best days of the week. Courtney includes students from grade level classrooms to come down and build relationships with her students while dancing. Shoreland is so lucky to have her!"

"In light of everything with state funding going on around us, I really wanted to send a shoutout to WLS Treasurer, Jeff Fouke. Seeing the devastation of cuts happening in education around the nation, I am so grateful for the fiscal astuteness and guidance that Jeff's direction has provided. I'm not sure if people realize the impact or how lucky we are to have someone in that role, so protective of our district's future - thinking TEN steps ahead. In a perfect world, schools would be funded appropriately with all that they need, but until then - WLS is so lucky to have Jeff Fouke."
Jeff's careful stewardship has allowed us to keep our focus on students and we are so grateful for his steady leadership!

Her immediate understanding of our amazing students was impressive and she was so diligent in her care at every level. It was a real gift to experience and work alongside her!"

"We want to give a shout out to retired Meadowvale Art teacher Mrs. Stacy Sattler, who generously returned to the Meadowvale Panther Room to do art projects woth our students! One we turned into a parent gift after her current boss at Peace, Love and Pottery (Sylvania Avenue) donated coasters and supplies and allowed Stacy to use the kiln at the store to finish the project off! We love it when one of our favorite former teachers comes out for a visit and brings us cool art projects to do from her new employer. Big thanks to Mrs. Stacy Sattler AND Peace, Love and Pottery! "

Mrs. Manley consistently goes above and beyond her role as a classroom teacher. She not only supports Emersen academically, but also demonstrates genuine care for her overall well-being. For example, without any prompting from us, she has been attentive to Emersen’s headaches by thoughtfully offering a small bit of sugar and monitoring her water intake throughout the day. These may seem like small gestures, but to a parent, they speak volumes about a teacher’s character, awareness, and heart.
Parent-teacher conferences with Mrs. Manley were equally thorough and impactful. She took the time to fully explain Emersen’s progress, needs, and strengths in a way that was both comprehensive and encouraging. The additional websites and logins she provided for practice at home have already proven to be extremely helpful and have given us meaningful tools to support learning beyond the classroom.
Her structure, expectations, and consistency have given our child a learning environment where she feels both supported and challenged. In a world where flexibility often outweighs accountability, Mrs. Manley strikes the balance beautifully. The results show and the respect she earns from students is genuine.
