PARENT TO COACHES SHOUTOUT:

"Shoutout to the incredible coaches at Whitmer Cheer. Coach Jenna, Coach Kelly, Coach Jaime, and Coach Tori!

You all truly go above and beyond for these cheerleaders in every possible way. From organizing the sweetest surprise scrapbooks for the seniors, to creating team t-shirts, to making personalized signs that ensure every girl feels seen, valued, and celebrated—you pour your hearts into everything you do.

It’s not just about cheer with you, it’s about building confidence, creating lifelong memories, and shaping these girls into strong, supportive teammates. The time, effort, and love you give never go unnoticed, and we are so incredibly grateful for each of you.

Thank you for being such amazing coaches, role models, and constant sources of support. Whitmer Cheer is beyond lucky to have you!"

OUR COACHES GIVE SUCH SPECIAL MEMORIES TO OUR ATHLETES. 💙💛

Parent Shout:

“Tony Scott (Meadowvale) is my daughter’s xc and track coach! He is truly one of the reasons she loves running. He does an amazing job of making sure the girls have fun, while building endurance. He has also taken the time to really give my daughter and others re-assurance after a race. When my daughter talks about going to Whitmer and leaving middle school sports, she says he is one of the things she will miss most. The time and effort he puts into middle school sports is beyond appreciated!! He also has helped me navigate WLXC and answer all my 100 questions despite if it’s a crazy time of the day!”

When a student is sad to leave one chapter, because of a bond with an adult, you KNOW they have made a difference!

Parent Shout:

“My son’s 2nd grade teacher at McGregor, Ms. Ersepke, is truly exceptional, and we feel so lucky to have her. She goes above and beyond every single day, creating a classroom environment that is not only engaging and supportive, but also filled with encouragement and positivity.

One of the things that sets her apart is her consistent communication. She doesn’t just reach out when there’s something important to address—she makes it a point to share the good, celebrating even the small victories and positive moments our child experiences throughout the day. Those messages mean so much and give us a real window into how our child is growing and thriving in her classroom.

What really speaks to her dedication is the way she shows up outside of the classroom as well. Seeing her take the time to attend the boys and girls baseball and softball games on April 25th meant the world to the kids and families. It’s a reflection of how much she genuinely cares about her students as individuals, not just learners.

She is an amazing teacher who makes a lasting impact, and her kindness, enthusiasm, and commitment do not go unnoticed. Thank you Ms. Ersepke!”

PARENT SHOUT:

"Mrs. Forche (Monac, 1st grade) is such an inspiring educator. She sees the potential in students even when they don’t yet see it in themselves. Her patience and passion for reading helped my daughter blossom into a more confident reader. I’m so thankful my daughter will always remember having a first grade teacher who created such a warm and inclusive environment for her at school. Mrs.Forche is a true gem!"

When an educator is patient and consistent, parents notice. Students notice.
And we definitely notice Ms. Forche!

STAFF SHOUT:

"Whitmer JH boys and girls track and field teams would love to thank Bus Drivers, Jennifer Loomis and Holly Martin for getting both teams to Napoleon for our track meet last Wednesday in some of the roughest conditions imaginable that popped up out of nowhere! They are true masters at what they do!"

Driving calmly in adverse conditions is a skill in itself, but doing it with dozens of children on board is an ART!
