"I want everyone to know what an amazing person Ms. Wietrzykowski at Whitmer High School is. I have two grandchildren at Whitmer who are currently going through some very difficult times, and Ms. Wietro goes above and beyond to ensure they are taken care of. I know they are safe and loved when they are at school, and they know they have a safe adult that they can go to anytime. Ms. Wietro treats my grandchildren like family. That is especially needed and important to them right now with what they are dealing with at home. I can't say thank you enough to her for looking out for my grandchildren, and providing them with the extra care and attention they need."

"I would like to give a super shout out to Whitmer's Associate Principal, Mrs. Wietrzykowski! She consistently shows dedication and love for all the students at Whitmer and makes sure everyone feels welcomed and safe. Even on her busiest days she finds time to stop what she is doing to check in on students and staff. I have witnessed on numerous occasions her checking in on an incoming freshman, who was extremely nervous just so she could make it through the day while enjoying her high school experience. I appreciate your kindness and know you do make a difference!"

It's always a good day for outdoor learning! AP European History and Ancient Civilizations students spent the day at the Michigan Renaissance Festival where they experienced Medieval activities, weapons, food, and music!

"I want to shout out Officer Jeff at Whitmer! Officer Jeff goes out of his way to introduce himself and communicate with our students in the Panther room. He is patient, polite and respectful. The kids love talking to him and asking him questions. He takes the time to answer them and hold a conversation with them. I think it's amazing that he wants to get to know the students so they feel safe and comfortable with him. Every school should have someone like Officer Jeff!"

"Sending the biggest shout out and thanks to Mrs. Susan Mee, the cheerful central nervous system of the place we affectionately call: The Meadows.
She thrives in both chaos and calm alike with such efficient gracefulness. It's so cool to see her work her magic. Delivery rate is consistently 12/10. Just the other day I had a problem I was talking to our awesome principal Ms. Melissa Hall about and quicker than two shakes of a lamb's tail, I heard Susan behind me on the phone already sourcing solutions for me!
She is the absolute best of the best and the definition of a pleasure to work with!"
